Reflections

My prayers and deepest condolences go to the earthquake victims in Haiti, and the families and friends of the victims. Here we are in Singapore enjoying a very comfortable and natural-disaster-free life, well-sheltered by our neighbouring countries, and situated at a very safe spot on the world map. Yes, we are indeed very lucky...so take a moment to spare a thought for the less-fortunate ones in other parts of the world. Life is precious, life is fragile...for if He wants it so, we can all disappear in seconds.

We should be grateful for what we have, because only by being grateful for what we have in life, do we realise what it means to be alive. It is in our nature to keep wanting more, to be dissatisfied with the little things we've accomplished and work towards a higher goal. However I believe we should not forget that we are still very fortunate, and gratitude is one of the roads leading to happiness.

So anyway, on a happier note...the bear family is having a nice week ahead!
Lots of activities and to-do lists that will keep us busy as well as spend quality time together.
I love my family. And yes, I am very grateful to have them in my life, as well as being in theirs.
