The reason why I am now inseparable from my pretty pink notebook and thus writing more blog entries in a day than I ever remember writing, is coz Mikhail is hogging my mobile phone(he's been doing that for sooo long but now it's practically 24/7!). He loves my iPhone - I think all kids do, since it's so easy to use and navigate. As much as I'm happy that my boy is very tech-inclined(he knows how to use our laptops, XBox 360, basic functions of the DVD player, etc)...I am now phone deprived! I use my phone for SMSing, checking e-mails, Facebooking, surfing the web...well, what everyone does with their smartphone! Without it, I feel lost. Now we all know that feeling, don't we? Information and communication in the palm of our hands - we all need it! Right? (Checking out my fave bags online counts too!).
At this very moment I can hear Wheels on the Bus playing on my phone, and my son singing along with it. He knows how to scroll and look for his fave youtube vids. He also knows how to say "Pleeeeaase mommy pleeeeeaassse..." when I tell him it's my turn to use the phone. He usually gets an extra 15mins on my phone when he says that magic word (I'm beginning to wonder if 'please' really is a magic word like 'abacadabra' hmm!).
Exposing children to technology at a young age and how to make good use of it, to me, is a good idea. But will some parents become so phone deprived that they develop withdrawal symptoms like 'overblogging syndrome'? -.-
Oh my baby is now done with my phone! *happy dance*
