When it comes to weather changes, this is a really boring place to be. There are basically 2 seasons - rain or shine (and when it shines, it scorches). It's been shining all year round except for the past few days it's been a little cooler and I'm loving it, Alhamdulillah! Especially for someone like me who only pretty recently started wearing the hijab, it's a challenge to cover up in our tropical weather. Which is why I love it when it rains, because that means the temperature will be lower and the wetness will make you feel a bit colder (sounds kinda wrong there). It's so EASY to dress up for cooler weather as opposed to hot weather. All you have to do is layer appropriately.
So what would I wear on a windy/rainy day here in Singapore?

Subtle, thin layers without looking bulky...perfect for a cool day by the lake
An elaborate flowy top hides a fitted long-sleeved tee underneath (and replace that hat with a nice hijab unless you like looking like a bullfighter)
Just in case the rain turns to snow *dreaming*
